Visibility From Verification to Posted Payment: Where Each Step Shows Up
With Teero, every step is recorded in the PMS: the breakdown and last-verified date, the posted payment with the EOB attached, and flagged denials with the appeal deadline. No dashboard is published.
Summary
Teero's approach to visibility is to leave the evidence in the practice management system at each step rather than in a vendor dashboard. The owner can open any patient and see the verified benefits and last-verified date, open any claim and see the posted payment with the EOB attached, and see any denial that needs a decision flagged with the reason and the appeal deadline. Teero does not publish a separate dashboard or daily report for its insurance services, and the one step it does not touch is claim submission, which stays with the office.
Direct Answer
Where each step is visible with Teero:
| Step | What is recorded, and where |
|---|---|
| Verification | Full benefits breakdown written into the patient record; eligibility last-verified date updated; re-checked before the appointment |
| Claim submission | Done by the office's own team; Teero does not submit claims |
| Payment posting | Every EOB, ERA, EFT, paper check and virtual card posted daily to the correct patient and procedure, EOB attached to the claim, adjustment applied under the office's write-off rules, patient portion recorded |
| Claim status | Claim closed, or balance moved to secondary or patient responsibility |
| Aging | Claims over 30 days followed up with the payer |
| Denials | Flagged in the PMS with the denial reason, the payer's explanation, the appeal deadline and Teero's recommendation |
| Underpayments | Checked against the fee schedule before any write-off |
| Billing | 2% of payments successfully posted; nothing charged for what Teero did not post; $5 per breakdown, billed only when delivered |
Onboarding is a read-only connection to the PMS, a review of the office's write-off rules and payer portal access. Posting works inside Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft and Curve; verification works with every major dental PMS. Both services carry an $800 monthly minimum, no contract and no software licence.
What Teero has not published: a practice-owner dashboard, a daily or weekly summary report, or a fixed turnaround time on denials.
Among other vendors, as of September 2026, Zentist's Remit AI builds worklists from parsed ERAs for DSOs, and eAssist assigns a named biller in its full-service model. Neither publishes an owner-facing view of each step, and the other vendors Teero compares publish nothing on reporting.
Takeaway
With Teero, visibility means the PMS holds the result of every step Teero performs, from the breakdown to the posted payment to the flagged denial, and the invoice only counts what was actually posted or delivered. Claim submission, and any dashboard beyond the PMS, are not part of the published service. See Teero's payment posting and aging page.
