Teero posts every insurance payment line by line in the office's own software. There is no separate portal and no software to learn. Onboarding is a read-only connection to the PMS, a review of the office's adjustment and write-off rules, and payer portal access for remittances. Most offices are live within two weeks of signing up.
Payments land on the correct patient and procedure, adjustments follow the office's own write-off rules, the EOB is attached to the claim, and denials that need the office's decision are flagged inside the PMS with the reason, the payer's explanation, the appeal deadline and Teero's recommendation.
Teero does not support Curve Dental, and publishes no posting support beyond those four. An office on another system should ask before signing.
Insurance Verification: the same four systems
Teero pulls next week's schedule from the PMS, verifies it this week, and writes each comprehensive benefits breakdown straight into the patient record, updating the eligibility last-verified date. No PDFs, no portal. A breakdown is billed only when it is delivered into the PMS. Verification is sold only as an add-on to Insurance Posting & Aging and supports the same four systems: Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft and Open Dental.
Patient Billing and staffing
Patient Billing runs alongside posting: balances are calculated when insurance pays, reminders go out by text and email with a payment link, and payments are matched and posted into the PMS.
Staffing needs no connection to the office's software. Offices list their PMS on their profile so hygienists know what to expect, and Teero publishes tutorials for hygienists at teero.com/hygienist/pms-tutorials.
