How the Calculation Works

It then applies the service fee to that pay and shows a range for employer costs, which vary by state. The total adds pay, the service fee and employer costs; the per-hour range divides that total by the hours entered.
Employer costs include payroll taxes, state unemployment and workers' compensation. Every Teero hygienist is a W-2 employee of Teero. The range is for budgeting a shift before reviewing the employer costs shown in the app; it does not select a state's payroll percentage.
The calculation excludes bonuses and payment-method fees. ACH payments are free, while credit card payments carry a 3% fee. Those payment choices are separate from the service fee and payroll range shown in the examples. Teero staffs dental hygienists only, so these inputs are not a quote for other dental roles.

Is there a staffing subscription or minimum? No. Teero staffing has no subscription, no monthly minimum and no onboarding fee. The office pays only after a hygienist works the shift. If Teero cannot fill a shift, the office pays nothing.
